Who this is for
Program Hub is provided by the YMCA of Greater Toledo for its own staff and the staff of YMCA Storer Camps. Access is by invitation from an administrator. There is no public sign-up, and the site is not intended for use by the general public or by children.
Your account is yours. Don't pass your sign-in details to anyone else — ask an administrator to invite them instead, which takes about a minute.
What you can upload
- Material you have the right to share. Your own lesson plans and photographs, material your YMCA owns, or material whose licence permits sharing with other YMCAs. If you bought a curriculum that forbids redistribution, it does not belong here.
- Not personal information about children or families. No names, no records, no health information, no photographs of identifiable children without whatever permission your YMCA requires for sharing them.
- Nothing confidential. Anything you publish is visible to staff at every participating YMCA. Treat it as you would a handout left on a table at a conference.
You keep whatever rights you had in what you upload. By publishing it here you are allowing staff at participating YMCAs to view, download, print and use it in their programs.
What we can do
We can remove content and deactivate accounts — because a document turned out to be licensed material, because it contained information it shouldn't, because someone left, or because the library needs tidying. Where a removal affects you and isn't obvious, we will say why.
Administrators manage people. There is always at least one — the app refuses to demote or deactivate the last one, so there is no way to end up locked out of your own site.
The assistant suggests; it does not decide
The site can read uploaded files and propose a description, supply list, grade range and so on. Those are suggestions for a person to check, and it is deliberately built to leave a field blank rather than invent a value. It can still be wrong, and it can still misread a document.
Anything published carries a person's name because a person pressed Save. Read what it proposes before you publish it. See the privacy statement for what gets sent where.
No warranty, and what that actually means here
This is a tool the YMCA of Greater Toledo built and runs for colleagues, not a commercial product with a support contract. It is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not promise it will be available at a particular moment, and we are not responsible for how an activity turns out when you run it with children — you are the professional in the room, and material from a library does not change that.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The site is backed up and we intend to keep it running, but it should not be the only place your work exists.
